WELCOME TO TAURUS TAEKWON-DO
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS!
We are happy to offer Taekwon-do ITF classes to everyone starting age 5 and up. Join our school to have fun, work out hard, meet new friends, learn respect and discipline.
Starting October 2023 we teach our classes in SOUTH-WEST, SOUTH and NORTH-EAST locations.
Services We Offer
Taurus Taekwon-do offers classes, self-defense workshops and private training.
Little Tigers Classes
(5-8 years old)
This program is for our youngest students starting age 5 and up. In a fun way they will learn the basics of Taekwon-Do, get fit and meet new friends. Through games and training students gain strength and confidence, improve concentration and flexibility, learn rules of the gym and respect for teachers, parents and Taekwon-Do. Starting age 6 Little Tigers can try themselves in the local tournaments. CTFI organizes a few local events where students are inrtoduced to the tournament invironment. Come to play, punch, kick and have fun with us. Spots are limited to 10-12 kids.
Beginners Family Classes
(9-14 years old/Adults)
This program is for adults without any fitness experience, children age 9 and up and kids who attended “Little Tigers” program. Students will learn Taekwon-Do techniques, patterns, self-defense, breaking boards, light contact sparring, improve their strength, cardio and flexibility. As students progress in training they can earn belts and work their way to the Black Belt. CTFI and ITF offer a variety of local, national and international tournaments for students to compete and practice their Taekwon-Do skills. This is a family program where we encourage parents to train with their children.
Advanced Family Classes
(15+years old/Adults)
This program is for fit adults and children age 15 and up, Red Belts+ and Competitive students. Students are divided by belt level and body size rather than age. A lot of exercises and drills require partner work and competitive attitude. They will practice advanced techniques, such as acrobatics, team patterns, advanced sparring, board breaking and showmanship. Students will have an opportunity to compete and represent school in the local, national and world class tournaments. We encourage parents to join their children in this class and practice the Art of Taekwon-Do together.
OTHER Services
We offer private training & self-defence worshops for kids 10+ years old and adults.
Please contact us to check available time and book your group in. Private training is for students who need extra help with preparation for their Belt Test, competitive students or people who don't want to train in a group. It is available in 1 on 1 or small group of 2-6 students. Self-defence workshops are offered to the group of kids and adults (7 or more). The 2 hour interactive workshop will teach you recognize a dangerouse situations, basic self-defence techniques will build your confidence and might help you to survive a possible attack.
